Urantia Foundation
tells us that they believe the
Revelation was written by the authors listed in the book, but they tell the US
Government Copyright Office a different story, that they,
Urantia
Foundation, authored the Revelation, and that it is "a work made for
hire."
Urantia Foundation, through its lawyers in a court of law, says,
"...it's
not a religious book", and that it's their
"intellectual property." Urantia Foundation's Executive
Director,
Tonia Baney, has said in a court
case in Hawaii that she doesn't know who authored the book.
Urantia Foundation's attorneys have said in court
that William Sadler, Jr. wrote parts of the book, and that
only members of their organizations are allowed to wear
the Banner of Michael, "the material emblem of the Trinity government of
all creation"
(53.5.4)
-what Urantia Foundation refers to as their
"collective membership mark".
Urantia Foundation says that the word "Urantian"
was coined from their name and that no one else is allowed to use it.
They say that they own the Banner of Michael and the word
"Urantia", forever. Jesus said, "Forbid him not. Do you not
perceive that this gospel of the kingdom shall presently be proclaimed in all
the world? How can you expect that all who will believe the gospel shall be
subject to your direction? Rejoice that already our teaching has begun to
manifest itself beyond the bounds of our personal influence." (159.2.1)
But Urantia Foundation spits on His teachings when it says
you
can't quote more than 1,000 words of Jesus, or any other part of God's
Revelation to Urantia, without their permission. Jesus said, "Be
willing to suffer injustice rather than to go to law among yourselves"
(140.3.14), but by its actions persecuting believers in court for spreading
God's Revelation in their own way, Urantia Foundation spits on those
teachings too. Urantia Foundation's "Declaration of Trust", their
raison d'être, requires that they keep the text of the Urantia Revelation
"inviolate", but for years they altered the text in
virtual secrecy and without footnotes, even deleting words such as "in
the manger" from page 1317, and have not printed an
"inviolate" text book since 1967. Only after they were exposed
in 1990 did they belatedly publish a separate list of the changes they
made. In Urantia Foundation's lawsuit against C.U.B.S.,
they denied having a "Principal Object", even though
their Declaration of Trust clearly states that they do.

Ask the trustees to correct the
lies on the copyright document which say the Revelation is "a work made
for hire" and that the Foundation is the "Author." Ask them
why no two printings match the original text, defaulting on their Declaration
of Trust to keep the text "inviolate." Ask them what they think
Jesus meant when he said, "Forbid him not. Do you not perceive that this
gospel of the kingdom shall presently be proclaimed in all the world? How can
you expect that all who will believe the gospel shall be subject to your
direction? Rejoice that already our teaching has begun to manifest itself
beyond the bounds of our personal influence." Ask them why they don't
return to court and tell the judge: "Yes, your honor, it really IS a
religious book. Our lawyers made a mistake." Ask them about the death
threats against David Kantor and other alleged criminal activities. Ask Mo
Siegel "What prevents Urantia Foundation from precisely speaking the
truth about the book's unseen authors?"
