URANTIA FOUNDATION Subpoena of Records of Asoka Foundation
(An identical subpoena has apparently been served on Agondonter Foundation)
Pursuant to Federal Rule 30(b)(6), the Foundation [i.e. Asoka Foundation] shall appoint one or more representatives to appear for the deposition who have personal knowledge of and can testify regarding the following subjects:
(a) the full extent of the Foundation's activities in providing monetary and other support to Kristen Maaherra to assist her in the litigation with the URANTIA Foundation denoted on the subpoena (the suit);
(b) who donated funds to the Foundation on behalf of Kristen Maaherra to pay for her attorney's fees, and how much each person donated; and
(c) how much money the Foundation to each of the following persons from 1990 to the present date:
1. Kristen Maaherra
2. Eric Schaveland
3. Joseph Lewis
4. The law firm Cleary, Komen & Lewis, formerly know as Cleary and Komen; and
(d) the identity of each person who solicited funds on behalf of the Foundation for the purpose of paying some or all of Kristen Maaherra's attorney's fees, costs and/or other expenses of litigation before or during the pendency of the suit.Notice to Produce the Following Documents:
Please produce the following documents pursuant to the subpoena:
(a) Copies of all cancelled checks made payable by the Foundation (from 1990 to the present date) to each of the following:
1. Kristen Maaherra
2. Eric Shavelant
3. Joseph Lewis
4. The law firm of Cleary, Komen & Lewis, formerly known as Cleary & Komen.
(b) Copies of all records and documents in your possession, custody or control that evidence, refer or relate to the lawsuit referenced in the caption of this subpoena;
(c) Copies of all records and documents in your possession, custody or control that evidence, refer or relate to any payment made by the Foundation to any of the following persons from 1990 through the present date:
1. Kristen Maaherra
2. Eric Shaveland
3. Joseph Lewis
4. The law firm of Cleary, Komen & Lewis, formerly known as Cleary & Komen.
(d) Copies of all fundraising letters, memoranda relating to the payment of Kristen Maaherra's legal expenses in the suit, and memoranda relating to the Foundation's role in assisting Kristen Maaherra in the suit that are in your possession, custody or control.
