RE: Invitation to your party
Mo,
The more I think about your "personal invitation" to the party at your house, the more indignant I become.
Your words on my answering machine may sound gracious to your ears — but who is your audience? Your phone call sounds to me like a meaningless ceremonial with no genuine compassion.
"Woe upon you, hypocrite! for you are scrupulous to cleanse the outside of the cup and the platter, but within there remains the filth of deception. You are spiritually blind. Do you not recognize how much better it would be first to cleanse the inside of the cup, and then that which spills over would of itself cleanse the outside? You wicked reprobate! you make the outward performances of your religion to conform with the letter of your interpretation of law while your soul is steeped in iniquity." (To paraphrase slightly).
You say, "I don't know how we can make things better if we all don't talk to each other."
You say, "a chance to meet people and talk" would "help our situation."
Mo, what is there to talk about? If you want to be "friends," why did you become a trustee while the Foundation was still suing me? Or, why did you not drop the lawsuit as soon as you became a trustee? Why do you not drop it now?
You, personally, have filed a Motion for Permanent Injunction against me with Judge Urbom in Arizona. You, personally, have asked the Court not to let me quote the text of the Urantia Book, not to quote Jesus.
You, personally, are trying to get the court to take away my computer and CD maker. You, personally, are trying to get me put in prison because my spiritual beliefs differ from yours.
And what is that difference? I believe the Urantia Papers are exactly what they say they are. I believe that the revelators intended that there was to be NO HUMAN NAME associated with the revelation.
I believe that this supernal revelation is the ONLY place on the planet where human mind can touch superhuman mind. All other "religious" or "spiritual" books are autorevelation. The leverage of EPOCHAL revelation is that it has NO HUMAN contamination.
You, personally, have told me that you believe the questions asked by the forum constitute copyrightable human authorship.
Why should I come to a party at your house when you are not only trying to destroy my religious freedom, but you have also taken away the spiritual community to which I have identified for 30 years as being my religious home? Words cannot express how much you have hurt me, right in my own Urantia community.
And your stand for human authorship has destroyed that very community.
"Do unto others" doesn't only go one way. You seem to believe that "do unto others" applies to everyone around you — while you are free to act in nasty and exploitive ways to your brothers and sisters.
"Do unto others" seems to mean to you that I have to treat you with love, respect, and courtesy while you're filing documents in court against which I must continually defend myself for over 7 years.
Mo, I don't really believe you can "hear" me, but the Golden Rule applies to you, too. I am a person you need to treat as you would want to be treated. Your phone invitation may sound good to you, but your actions have yet to come close to your words.
When you are as sincere in your actions as you sound in your words, I will again come to your parties.
Love (I desire good for you), and God bless you,
Kristen.
