TRANSCRIPT OF

A MESSAGE FROM GOD
by Joe Pope, aka Elijah the Third

1990

GREETINGS!

God promised He would send a prophet called Elijah before the end of the world.

That time is now, and I am he.

What you’re about to hear on this “tape is startling information -- prophets always bring revelation. Some of these ideas will challenge your traditional beliefs. But they are essentially the truth and very soon events on earth will bear this out.

My assignment is not to frighten you, but to alleviate the fear these disconcerting events will trigger -- to console, comfort, and reassure you. My aim is to stimulate your faith in God -- help you to find inner peace and contentment, even sublime hope as the world destroys itself in war.

I recommend you do not listen to this entire cassette in one sitting. I have divided it into six parts, separating the themes. You will find it helps to stop the tape -- pause, think, and evaluate the message, maybe talk it over with friends -- before you move on to the next part. This may take several days, .but it will help you to avoid an information overload.

I bring good news and bad news. The bad news is the end of the world as we know it. The good news is the New Earth, constructed by God Himself for the survivors of this worldwide disaster. In away, the world doesn’t really “end”. It just goes through a major purging, and a sudden transition into this New Earth, at least for those blessed with strong faith in God.

The best way to deal with this good-news-bad-news is the way an expectant mother deals with her birthpangs. They are painful, awful to endure. But these agonies pass in her experience and her memory because they are unimportant. The good news of the new life, the tiny baby coming into the world, completely overshadows the bad news of these passing pangs of birth.

Our planet will soon begin the birthpangs of its new child. Only this baby will be the New Earth -- the Golden Age the Greeks and Romans dreamed of, the Kingdom of God or Kingdom of heaven as others have called it.

This will bring the worldwide rule of God, with universal peace, religious co-operation, unbounded prosperity and everlasting happiness.

Jesus called his message “The gospel of the kingdom”. In Greek, “gospel” means good news. And this kingdom is wonderful good news, for God will act directly, miraculously, to install this planet-wide kingdom of happiness, and grace. He will thrust a Father’s hand into the affairs of earth.

As Paul of Tarsus -- the famous Paul of Christianity -- promised:

“We shall all be changed, in a moment, in the t winkling of an eye.” (I Cor. 15:52)

In the Bible, the prophet Daniel in his second chapter describes a symbolic stone, cut from a mountain by no human hands. This stone comes flying out of nowhere at the end of time and smashes all the’ empires and kingdoms of the earth. It scatters them as dust to the four winds. Daniel wrote:

“And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed...”

This is the kingdom I’m talking about. It’s just over seven years away, as I speak, early in 1990. Daniel makes it clear the blossoming forth of this kingdom will not be our doing. The symbolic stone is not cut by human hands.

And all this is really good news because people have prayed for these clays for centuries. Every time Christians say the Lord’s Prayer they beseech God to act, to bring this kingdom -- “Your kingdom come!”

No one need pray these words much longer; the kingdom is coming soon.

But also, terrible war is coming -- beginning in 1990.

We must reconcile ourselves to seven-plus years of tribulation. God is saying: “Suffer this also for Me, and I. will deliver you.” No matter what happens, God will save us from this tribulation. He has not forgotten us, nor will He forsake us. But He will act in His own good time!

Some of the prophets of the past were moral reformers. They thundered and fumed against sin, threatening fire and brimstone. Will the end-times Elijah shout- repentance? No, not at all -- the awful days of these coming wars will achieve that. Fear is a mighty motivator.

The job of this prophet is to bring certainty and inner confidence, despite this very uncertain and upset world.

The SECRET to all this is information. Future difficulties are easier to bear when we know in advance precisely what is going to happen -- all the details.

Let me illustrate.

The week of his arrest and execution, Jesus spent evenings alone with his apostles in the moonlight on Mount Olivet. They were spellbound, because he was revealing the future to them -- and in great detail.

He warned them Jerusalem would be destroyed before a generation had passed. He told them to expect wars and rumors of war, famines, earthquakes and political revolts. And sure enough, everything came true just as Jesus had predicted. Everything.

Then he gave them the critical information, the insight that would save their lives. He warned them -- when they heard Roman armies were encircling Jerusalem, get out of town and fast. He was very specific -- don’t go back for possessions or even a cloak. Just get out of town.

They did. And they didn’t wait for word of encircling Roman armies. As soon as they heard the Romans were marching toward Jerusalem, they packed up everything. They moved to Jesus’ old camp at Pella to the north.

Sure enough -- in 70 A.D. Jerusalem was besieged. And the Christians were safe -- at Pella.

When Jesus finished his moonlight prophecies to his wide-eyed apostles, he added these words:

“And now I have told you this before it occurs, so that when it does take place you may believe and have faith in, and rely on me: (John 14:29 AMP)

My task is exactly the same -- to tell you in advance what is going to happen. And it has to be God arranging for this future foreknowledge, for He and He alone knows the future in detail. Moses set a test for all prophets -- they must predict the future, and it must come true as they predicted it.

This time, however we’ll need the intervention of God to deliver us to our Pella safety camp -- and it won’t be just the Christians, who are saved.

Jesus taught two concepts of the kingdom. It was within us as God’s comforting Spirit and outside of us as this miraculous material kingdom whose coming I announce.

We may enter the first kingdom by faith in this Indwelling Spirit of our Father -- for the second we must depend on the surety of this same Spirit within promising. “Fear not! I will save you!”

So I’m going to reveal very little about all this horrible destruction in advance --it will be hard enough to bear when it comes.

The decade of the 1990s will be nothing but war from beginning to end. In fact, the decade will not reach its end -- the’ world will end first, in nuclear war.

The culminating destruction will come in late 1997, and will bring everything to a frozen standstill in a nuclear winter -- dark skies blocking out the sun, with endless snow and hail.

The world ends in fire and ice -- the fire of the nuclear explosions -- and then the ice -- the nuclear winter without end.

That’s the bad news. And that’s just about all I intend to say a bout it.

You will find these days pass more quickly, if you focus your hopes and dreams on the good news -- the New Earth. And that’s why my message will not deal with the clash of empires and the give and take of world war.

I’m going to focus instead on the land and the days of our deliverance -- this New Earth where God’s angels will take us, the place of our rescue.

God has nothing to do with ending the world -- He’s not fed up with all our sins. He simply refuses to interfere with it, for that would violate our freewill. And this gift of freewill is paramount -- He would never do that.

We cause the end of the world. God simply reacts by rescuing His endangered children.

Can it be prevented? Sure! The end of the world in nuclear war is not inevitable.

The stumbling block is -- sovereign nations simply will not take the steps to prevent it. Why? Because that would require surrendering a measure of their national sovereignty -- and that, they will not do. Let me explain.

We have possessed since the 1950s nuclear weaponry with the capacity to destroy all life -- everything.

Yet we have failed to evolve the international political controls to prevent nuclear proliferation and destruction. I’m talking about a world government, or a world court whose rulings are binding. Without these controls, we are simply children playing with dynamite.

The deadly infection that will destroy the earth is unlimited national sovereignty --every nation believes it has the right to do whatever it wants. If another nation disagrees, they just up and declare war.

And that’s why the end of the world is virtually certain -- and, coming soon.

But it can be avoided. So don’t call me a doomsayer, a promoter of these things -- I am not. I am only the messenger of Divine insight. And from God’s viewpoint, it appears highly likely this world is about to destroy itself in war -- so elaborate preparations have begun in heaven. Sending a reassuring and consoling prophet is part of those preparations.

God’s role in all of this is to rescue His children, and start again with a New Earth. Like a Father who has watched his son burn down his tent playing’ with matches, the Universal Father is going to get us a new tent -- only this time, it will be fireproof! There’ll be no more war in the New Earth. We will choose finally, to stop playing with nuclear matches.

This ends part one.

Now in part two, let’s talk religion.

This coming kingdom of God’s personal and miraculous inauguration -- will it be a worldwide Jewish, Christian or Islamic empire? Yes. Will the whole world convert to Judaism, Christianity or Islam? No!

And the same can be said for Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Taoism -- any faith.

Many religious believers have an attitude of spiritual superiority. They think they have the one true faith -- the mandatory religion to which everyone will just have to convert at the end of the world.

Attitudes of infallibility -- that our religion has all the right answers, and that everyone else’s religion is wrong-- are going to cause a lot of misery as the end of the world approaches.

Some sincere Jews for example, have assumed the end-times ‘kingdom would be a worldwide Hebrew empire -- with everyone converting to Judaism. But many Christians have also taught for centuries the world would have to come to Jesus and Christianity at its end -- like it or not. Some Muslims have thought in terms of a worldwide Islamic rule.

The truth is -- nobody is going to have to convert to anything at the end of the world! This will be a Jewish kingdom for the Jews, a Christian kingdom for the Christians, and an Islamic kingdom for Muslims. It will be all things to all people. But it will not be under the domination of any existing religion.

God is absolutely unified -- so He delights in the religious diversity on earth. There is nothing wrong in His eyes with religious plurality -- wide-ranging faiths and creeds, each worshipping Him with their own theology, traditions, liturgy or rituals.

Every religion is a true religion when it focuses its worship on the God of final salvation.

The Universal Father looks on this aggregation of different faiths the same way a human father regards his many children -- he loves each of them because they are so diverse and different. And like a human father, God is saddened to see them fighting among themselves for preference.

Jesus taught the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man. But the world has not achieved this family ideal in 2000 years. This coming kingdom will be founded on this very ideal of the Divine family on earth -- love for God, the Father of our religious family, and love for all our brothers and sisters, the sons and daughters of God -- regardless of their faith-orientation.

People who look down their noses at other, supposedly inferior or lesser religions, will not make it to this new kingdom. Their arrogant intolerance will result in their rejection as unsuitable.

It’s one thing to have certainty, orthodoxy about one’s own beliefs. That’s okay. But when this same orthodoxy presumes to devalue other beliefs, it becomes evil --and such arrogance dooms any hope for salvation. Religious self-assurance is good, but it’s extremely dangerous when it strays over this line.

There will be a unifying religion in the New Earth -- and that will be the Family of God -- the aggregate of all religions and all God-worshippers on earth, taken together as a whole.

This Family of God -- as an umbrella religion of the delivered people of earth, will conserve and celebrate the traditions of all religions. It will take in these differing faith practices to honor and celebrate them as a world cultural heritage.

MESSAGE…8

In the New Earth, in every community, there will be but one class of religious structure -- and that’s Temples of the Father. And in these temples will worship together Jews, Christians, Moslems, Hindus, Buddhists and so on. There will not be synagogues for the Jews, churches for the Christians, mosques for the Muslims, and temples for the Sikhs and Buddhists. The days of our religious separation and aloofness will have ended.

In today’s world, religious unity may seem like a pipe-dream. In the New Earth it will be a fact -- for there, it will be easier for us to realize we are all children of one Divine Father, who has rescued all of us, together!

It doesn’t matter whether one calls him Father, Ahura Mazda, Allah, Yahweh, or Jehovah. The world will finally have a universal religion of religious cooperation.

And it will be a delight watching all these traditions come together without anyone losing anything.

John Zebedee, Jesus’ youngest apostle, had a vision of the end of the world and all the delivered people of earth. And this is what he wrote in the Book of Revelation:

“And after this I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne...”

Now I want to move on and tell you about the heavenly prince coming to rule this N Earth. Jews call him the Messiah, and he goes by many names, depending which religion you consult. But there is only one prince. And he is not Jesus.

If he is not Jesus, who is this prince ,-- and what happened to the Christian teaching going back 2000 years that Jesus is going to come back and personally rule this world?

When you understand who Jesus really is, you can the better grasp the truth concerning this prince.

First of all -- Jesus is Divine. He was, and is, and always will be a Son of the living God. He is the Creator and Sovereign -- on behalf of the Universal Father - of the universe in which we live. This universe -- one of many in creation -- has millions of inhabited worlds like our earth.

MESSAGE…9

Jesus, as the sovereign and creator of this massive universe, made a decision long ago to live an exemplary life as a mortal on of his inhabited worlds. Earth was the lucky winner. We got picked. I’m not going to go into all the reasons why he picked us, for they are many and complex. But we are very, very fortunate, and have derived countless benefits from this amazing fact -- that a Creator Son of God, a Divine Son of the Universal Father, came to live on our planet incarnated as a mortal

He came partly to rescue the sovereignty of our planet from its former administrator the Devil. The Devil is very real, a lingering remnant of a rebellion in heaven long ago. And 2000 years ago, the title of Prince of this world was taken away from the Devil and bestowed on this Jesus. Now, among his many titles, is Prince of Peace. And that designator -- Prince -- carries with it the sovereignty of the earth.

Long before Jesus’ day, many prophets were told there would someday come an unusual being from heaven to live on the earth. Isaiah even prophesied his future title --Prince of Peace. He also knew well in advance that the Jews of Jesus’ day would reject him. And the prophet Daniel revealed to us his universe name -- Michael.

It’s spelled like Mike-uhl, but in his language -- the universe language -- it’s pronounced Mike-ee-uhl -- not Mick-hail -- Mike-ee-uhl.

Now what’s in a name? Well, if your name was Bob and people called you Bobe, how would you feel? He is after all, our universe sovereign and our planetary prince, and that’s his name!

Anyhow, Daniel predicted this Mike-ee-uhl would some day be prince of this world,

He wrote:

“At that time shall arise Michael, the great Prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time; but at that time your people shall be delivered.”

Jews and Christians have thought this heavenly Michael in the Book of Daniel was an archangel -- the patron or guardian of Israel. But Michael is no archangel --he’s a Creator Son of God.

Our world is the only planet in his universe of nearly four million inhabited worlds, in whose celestial government he personally participates -- and this, in addition to his universe over-control. We are an extremely fortunate world in this creation, especially this universe. In a sense, we have become a personal ward world of a Creator Son of God who does not ordinarily participate in the management of a planet.

This Jesus-as-Michael managed his spirit rule of earth quite effectively these many centuries, even though many religions on earth do not accept-his divinity. He ministered to them just as lovingly -- and without interfering with their freewill.

So this is why I declare unequivocally: “Jesus is not going to personally rule the New Earth.” You see -- he already personally rules the earth in spirit. And that’s why he is sending a distinguished prince -- one of his most experienced celestial sons and teachers to represent him, and to carry out his rule in the material world, in the glorious days of the New Earth.

This prince will be like a human being -- a son of marl -- a flesh and blood mortal living permanently among us -- undying -- a supernatural personality walking around in a human body -- and remaining on earth for the foreseeable - future.

Now before I tell you more about this heavenly prince, I also want to deal with the second coming -- because it too is tied in to all of this.

Concerning Jesus’ return visit to earth, Christians have proclaimed this would occur at the end of the world. But Jesus himself did not promise that!

He said he would come back. He was also very mysterious as to when he would return. He said the date was known only to the Father -- not even the angels of heaven knew. It was only after he left that the apostles began this tradition about his returning world to personally rule. And they did this, because they hoped so much that he would.

There is another factor in all this speculation about the second coming. They have in heaven, and we will see it ourselves in the New Earth, a television-like broadcasting system. In the same way a head of state can enter some body’s living room via live television, it will be possible in the New Earth for Jesus to speak to us directly without actually coming here. It would simply be a live transmission from his capital world, far out in the reaches of space.

So I suspect we will see his handsome face, drink in his wonderful and gracious personality, and hang on his every word, via this universe broadcasting system. And this, --long before we ever greet his second coming in person.

Now let me illustrate the sweep of his love and consideration for us.

The requirement for salvation at the end’-of the world is faith in God, the Universal Father -- not, faith in this Jesus as one of his sons. Faith in Jesus’ divinity will serve a Christian well -- and that is good, but it is not a theological requirement for people of other religions in the Father’s larger family of faith sons and daughters on earth.

It should also be said to clear the air – no Jew of the last 2000 years bears one iota of responsibility for the murder of Jesus. As far as the judges of heaven are concerned, he was murdered by the Jewish Sanhedrin leaders of his day, in collusion with the Roman procurator. They, and they alone -- Caiaphas, Annas, the Pharisees, Sadducees, and scribes who voted death on his head -- will pay the judgment price for his murder, along with a vacillating Pontius Pilate.

Jesus has continued these many centuries to love the Jews -- he a Jew! -- indeed, anyone of any faith who refuses to accept his divinity. He bears no grudges.

When he eventually returns, he will come in great glory and with the heavenly host -- a vast retinue of angels and other supernatural beings. But he will not be coming as a stern judge, with a frown on his face, itching to punish all non-believers in his divinity.

On that day, all races and religions will gladly receive and welcome him -- they will hail him with great joy -- because they will perceive with their own eyes the glorious reality of who he is. There will be no room for doubt. There is doubt today because all we have left are ancient scriptures, traditions, and legends about him. Time and circumstances force us to believe without seeing.

When people do see him, all opposition to his divinity will melt in the face of his matchless personality. His wonderful family fellowship with us, his brothers and sisters, on earth, and his forgiving good humor will put everybody supremely at ease. No one will gulp with guilt feelings when they look him in the eye, nor stare at the ground in shame. You can expect tension-breaking smiles, easygoing conversation, and laughter all round - that’s just his way.

Believe me, you will see Jesus coming -- when he does -- as Mr. Nice Guy. And you’ll long remember the happiness of that day, no matter how you feel today.

Now you can see why this coming prince is not Jesus. Jesus -- as Michael -- is sending a representative, a Deputy Prince, or Vicegerent Prince, who is going to rule on his behalf. Nevertheless you can be sure the chief prince will still be weaving his magic behind the scenes on this, the world where he gave his life.

The reason all this confusion happened in the first place, was Jews and Christians of old failed to clearly perceive there are two Messiahs described in ancient Bible prophecy. There are two savior figures predicted in the scriptures whose life and careers are entwined with the fate of the earth.

There is a so-called “Suffering Messiah”, who is rejected and murdered. And there is a second righteous-king Messiah who comes at the end of the world as the planet’s Deliverer.

When the Christians say -- “The Messiah has already come -- they are quite correct.

And when the Jews say -- “No, the Messiah has not yet come -- they too are quite correct.

There are two Messiahs -- the second is not the first, and the second is not Jesus.

To their credit, many-Jews after all these centuries, never lost sight of this righteous-king end-times Messiah coming from heaven to make his headquarters in a new Jerusalem, and rule the world from there. This Jerusalem will be an international city and greatly enlarged.

For their part, the early Christians knew about this end-times king-Messiah, but they simply assumed Jesus would come back himself and do this job. Jesus never said he would -- his early followers simply hoped it would be the case. So this started as an apostolic hope and tradition in Christianity -- and later became doctrine.

If you look in the Book of Revelation chapter 11, the fifteenth verse, you will see John’s prophecy of the coming events of our day. He wrote:

“The kingdom of the -- world has become the kingdom of our Lord and his Christ and he shall reign for ever and ever.”

Now, Christ is the Greek word for Messiah. So here we have reference to “our Lord” -- Jesus-as-Michael -- and his Christ or Messiah. -- the prince whose coming I herald.

And this ends part 2.

In part 3, we’ll discover that this expectation of a Messiah-Prince at the end of the world is not limited to Christians and Jews.

Many religions, races, and cultures have this tradition of a coming heavenly hero to rule over a Golden Age on earth with peace and prosperity in a new Garden of Eden -- and almost invariably, he comes at a time of great trouble.

One of the oldest civilizations -- the Egyptians had such apocalyptic traditions. They saw a future righteous king coming forth from the sun on a day of horrible darkness and gloom in the land of the Nile.

The Greeks and Romans had fantastic prophecies of a Golden Age. They believed in the Isles of the Blessed -- unreachable islands far out in the ocean, where dwelled a utopian people in eternal peace and happiness. This is where the Englishman, Sir Thomas More got the idea for his great work entitled “Utopia”, back in the 16th century.

But it was no Isles of the Blessed -- it was really the New Earth [that] the Greeks, Romans, and Sir Thomas were dreaming about. And as we shall see, it was no dream.

The oldest religion in the east is Hinduism. Hindus call this Golden Age the Krta-Yuga. It follows immediately upon the heels of our present evil age, the Kali-Yuga. And the heavenly king to rule over it is named Kalkin. Hindus believe this Kalkin will be the final incarnation of the god Vishnu. Some Hindus believe Vishnu has had many incarnations, including as Buddha and another as Jesus. Vishnu is a very popular and beloved god to the Hindus.

This Kalkin is expected to arrive from heaven to destroy the wicked, renovate creation, and re-establish purity and righteousness. In Hindu art Kalkin is portrayed on a white horse, his sword in hand blazing like a comet.

Let’s look at the Prince as he is seen in the eyes of other religions.

In Zoroastrianism, he is called’: Saoshyant, which means “savior”. Zoroaster founded this religion in the sixth century B.C. in Persia. Today, Zoroastrians are mainly found in India.

Zoroaster saw the future in terms of a great cosmic struggle between good and evil at the end of time -- good wins in the end, but only after a colossal struggle with great destruction on the earth.

Saoshyant rescues everybody, the Last Judgment takes place, and then everything is re-created in perfection.

Buddhists have thought of this end-times Prince as the next or final Buddha to come. They call him Maitreya, the smiling Buddha. His name means friendliness.

Buddhists believe he is a pre-existent being waiting in the heavens of delight. He will bring longevity -- the elixir of immortality -- and will teach enlightenment. His coming was predicted by the first Buddha, Gautama who lived in India around the sixth century B.C.

Islam has similar traditions, although for Sunni Muslims these do not include a savior figure per see But Shiite Muslims do see an end-times character coming they call the Mahdi. He is expected to fill the earth with justice and equity, and to restore the faith by renewing the Koran, the sacred scriptures of Islam.

North American native people have also foreseen this end-times Messiah’s coming in their prophetic traditions. And they realized his world headquarters would be in the Middle East -- in Jerusalem.

To the Hopi of the great American west, he is the Man of Peace from the east. The Ogallala Sioux call him the savior of the nation from the east. The Iroquois --foreseeing the times of terrible destruction when he will come -- call him the Man of Hope.

And this brings us back to the Jews and their concept of the Messiah. Hebrews believe a day will come when God would act directly on the earth, thrusting a Father’s hand into human affairs. A worldwide war would come, purging out the evil in the world. Then the Messiah would come to deliver the Jews from foreign domination and rule over the New Earth which they call the Kingdom of God. Why did the Jews call him the Messiah? Well, in Hebrew “ha-mashiah” means the anointed one. It refers to the practice of anointing kings with oil.

So you see -- no matter where you look, you will find people who believe in the coming of a savior figure at the end of the world -- a heavenly prince who will become a man -- and, as a man, rescue us and restore the world to the pristine conditions of the Garden of Eden.

Every race or religion has part of the jigsaw puzzle of the future -- but nobody has completely assembled it. Religions may disagree, or they may have more or less parallel ideas about the fate of the earth. But when these days come to pass --and that is now -- there is really only one set of circumstances that will obtain. And this is another reason God sends a prophet -- to sort out all the confusion by revealing, finally, the completed jigsaw puzzle.

The prince coming from heaven will be all things to all people.

He will be the apocalyptic king for the Egyptians, Kalkin for the Hindus, Saoshyant - for the Zoroastrians, Maitreya Buddha for the Buddhists, the Mahdi for the Muslims, the Man of Hope, the Man of peace for the North American native peoples, the righteous king Messiah for the Jews, and the deputy prince of Jesus of Nazareth sent in his name for the Christians. He comes for everybody, and he will rule over all nations --most graciously, as a world sovereign.

His name is Melchizedek. First name -- Machiventa. Machiventa Melchizedek. I guess we should start things off right by calling him LORD Machiventa Melchizedek. I mean, after all, he is coming from heaven as Lord of all the earth. He deserves the title. In Hebrew, his name means King of Righteousness.

He comes from a heavenly order of the sons of God of the same name -- the’ Melchizedeks. This is the highest order of supernatural beings created by Michael in our universe. The Melchizedeks are mainly teachers -- you might think of them as university professors -- although, they go from time to time on emergency missions down to the planets. And that’s exactly what happened in the case of Lord Machiventa. The planet was earth. ;

Now there’s something else I haven’ told you about these Melchizedeks -- they can change themselves into human beings and then back again to their sprit natures.

Lord Machiventa is not on the earth yet -- you will not see him until you arrive in the New Earth. But when you do, you will be shaking the hand of a mortal -- more accurately, a celestial personality who has cha himself into a human being.

His body will be specially fabricated -- it will not carry the bloodline of any race on earth. He will not be born of woman. Many Jews have felt this ‘Messiah would be a descendant of the Hebrew King David. But alas, it is not to be. There isn’t a race on earth that can claim Lord Machiventa as one of theirs. He represents and serves every race.

One of the writers of the Book of Hebrews in the Bible knew Lord Machiventa was a supernatural being, for he wrote of him.

“He is without father or mother or genealogy, and has neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the son of God he continues a priest for ever.”

Lord Machiventa first turned up here on his emergency mission in a human body about 4000 years ago. He appeared in Palestine during the days of the Hebrew patriarch Abraham.

What was the emergency?

Well, back then, people had only a fuzzy idea, a very dim understanding of the living God we. modern people know so well. Those were the days of fearful superstition, when human sacrifices were offered up to a pantheon of nature gods -- and I mean gods with a. small “g”. They were seen as mischievous spirits, lurking everywhere to make life miserable. -- . People believed you could only appease them by slaughtering a mortal -- human sacrifice.

The celestial guides behind the scenes -- angels and other supernatural personalities --had been trying to point these misguided people in the direction of monotheism, the worship of one God -- with a capital “G” -- but they had failed.

Remember, they will not interfere with our freewill. They point the way to truth, but they cannot drag us there. We must find it honestly for ourselves. They just, say -- “This is the way, walk therein.”

And so, they made a big decision in heaven -- a decision to incarnate this Melchizedek -- send him on the earth for a while to teach in the flesh. They felt this essential if they were to have any hope of, leading these frightened, superstitious people away from these senseless and unnecessary human sacrifices and toward the one God of creation.

In 1980 B.C. Melchizedek just materialized himself one day near Salem in Palestine, where now stands the city f Jerusalem.

He walked up to a herder’s tent, stuck his head in and said. “I am Melchizedek, priest of the Most High, the one and only God.”

The herdsman invited him to stay and eat. And that was the first food Melchizedek had ever tasted.

He stayed on earth for 94 years. He built a school for missionaries, and sent them into all the world with his liberating message -- people could find favor with God by faith alone -- no sacrifices or rituals of any kind were required. Just about every religion on earth today owes some of its theology to the missionaries of this wonderful man .who came from heaven.

Now you can see why so many faiths have a common conception about a prince coming from heaven at the world’s end! It’s no accident -- it’s the distillation into many faiths of Lord Machiventa’s teaching that he would return someday as the world’s prince.

Now, as Lord Machiventa surveyed the scene 4000 years ago, he was particularly interested in a certain Abraham who lived not far from Salem, in Chaldea -- in a city called Ur.

With his supernatural wisdom and insight, Melchizedek was positive the children which flowed from this Abraham, his descendants, would carry the greatest potential to follow monotheism -- the worship of one God. And he was right -- modern Arabs’ and Jews are among the most devout monotheists in the world today. And both these races trace their origin to a common father -- Abraham.

But Melchizedek had a challenge to overcome -- Abraham was a virile man, aggressive and warlike -- he enjoyed conquering. Lord Machiventa was concerned Abraham would be killed in battle before he brought forth these very promising descendants.

So, Melchizedek made him a deal on God’s behalf -- a covenant between God and man.

He promised Abraham he would be very fruitful, that his countless offspring would someday fill all Palestine and live there in peace. The condition was -- Abraham had to give up his military adventures and settle down.

Well, the patriarch accepted the deal -- and as a token of this covenant had himself circumcised. And this is the origin of the practice of circumcision among Jews and Arabs.

With Abraham settled down, and Melchizedek’s missionaries carrying his teachings all over the ancient world, Lord Machiventa decided his mission on earth was completed .

He bid his friends good night one evening and went to his tent. But when they called him in the morning, he was gone. He had completely disappeared. And they never saw him again!

But others did as time went on, for Lord Machiventa continued to work in the invisible on earth -- and sometimes in the visible world toot He manifested himself in visions to certain selected people.

His goal was always to foster and encourage the development of monotheism.

Melchizedek was the real inspiration behind Moses, who renewed covenant with the one God -- the Hebrews the ten commandments.

He was likewise the voice behind most of the Hebrew prophets -- a long and distinguished line of future-foretellers and teachers of righteousness.

Lord Machiventa was the being who appeared to Ezekiel along the river Chebar in Babylon, and also to Daniel along the banks of another Babylonian river. Daniel was so shook up, he fainted. But Melchizedek gave him a vision of the future day when he would receive as our prince the sovereignty of the earth. Of that vision, Daniel recorded:

“And to him was given dominion and glory and kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.”

We read these words in Daniel chapter seven, the 14th verse.

After the early Christians became wrongly convinced that Jesus was coming back to personally: rule the earth, they tailored these words -- this vision -- to fit Jesus. But these words do not refer to Jesus, they refer to Melchizedek’s future day as our prince.

Lord Machiventa was also the supernatural being who appeared to John Zebedee. To him he presented the vision which is the centerpiece of the Book of Revelation.

And that’s just a little bit of the saga of Lord Machiventa Melchizedek --Messiah of the New Earth -- coming soon to a planet near you.

In so many ways, he should be no stranger to the people of our world -- and yet, he is.

This is probably because of the selfless nature of these Melchizedeks -- they never look for credit in their work -- they enjoy quietly laboring for the good of all.

But while most races and religions lost sight of his name, his historic accomplishments, and his future destiny -- there is one group that didn’t.

The Essenes were an ultra-orthodox sect of Jewry. They built settlements near the Dead Sea in Palestine just before and during the times of Jesus. When Roman armies came marching, the Dead Sea sect hid its scriptures -- on leather scrolls -- in some earthenware jars in caves. These scrolls were found only around the middle of this 20th century, and scholars have been analyzing them with excitement ever since.

One of the scrolls -- found in cave number eleven at Qumran -- told the whole story. It contained a prophecy that this Melchizedek would return at the end of the world as a savior. He would destroy evil and renew the earth.

To their great credit, the long lost Essenes at the Dead Sea knew the end-times Messiah would be Melchizedek!

And this ends part 3.

Now in part 4, we come to the miraculous rescue of God’s children from a planet devastated by nuclear bombs, and the temperature plunging rapidly.

When earth is nearly uninhabitable, angels will act! They will take the survivors to another planet. The New Earth is literally a new world, designed by God, specially constructed to receive the evacuees of earth.

As I suggested at the beginning of this tape, only Almighty God could have a spare planet waiting in His back pocket!

This New Earth has a name -- it’s called Graceland, Paradise of Righteousness.

Now this Graceland has absolutely nothing to do with Elvis Presley’s mansion in Memphis, Tennessee -- also called Graceland. When Elvis bought the mansion in 1957 it was then the Graceland Christian church. In theological terms, grace means an unearned gift from God. Elvis just decided to keep this religious name for his new mansion.

Where is this planet? It’s actually within the gravity grasp of our sun, but it’s a long ways out. It’s about 14 times as far from the sun as Pluto, our farthest known planet.

It’s also, from the outside, a very world. And that’s because it’s internally lit and heated -- underneath an insulating or protective canopy. You see, our sun is too far away to be of any use for lighting and heating Graceland. They have to use the internal energy of the globe, and that’s why it has to be conserved under the canopy.

The people taken there at the last minute will be selected. If they pick you, if your name is on the list of evacuees, you go. If they don’t, you will be left here to die.

How many will they pick? Roughly one third of the earth’s population -- a little over two billion people. That means well over three billion are not going to make it.

Does this seem a little harsh? Well, God has been warning us for centuries this is how the chips would fall at the end of the world.

The apostle Peter wrote that God is “not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (1 Peter 3:9)

Do you remember the old proverb of the straight and narrow -- the way of life and the way of death?”

This proverb taught -- at the end of the world, the gate which leads to destruction would be wide and many would enter. But the door which leads to righteousness and life would be straight and narrow, and few would choose this path.

For centuries people have asked -- “Will few or many be saved?”

God does not choose to reject two thirds of His children at the end of the world! They choose to reject Him! And that’s why they cannot be taken to Graceland -- He will not force salvation on anyone.

Now all this would seem like tragic news -- if it weren’t for one thing -- it’s easy to get selected for the Graceland evacuation. Did not Jesus say a “My yoke is easy.”?

The only requirement to be evacuated to Graceland is sincere faith in God -- that’s all.

It doesn’t matter whether you have been involved in decades of sin and evil --practiced every crookedness and abomination. You can forsake this past -- come home to God’s service and you will be forgiven, taken to Graceland with the rest.

It doesn’t matter how far you think you are outside the vale of religious consolation. You may still come back! God is naturally forgiving. He is first and foremost a loving Father -- not a heavenly bookkeeper of all our evil deeds, waiting to take vengeance.

You don’t have to be a member of a certain religion. It doesn’t matter whether you are Roman Catholic, Protestant, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist -- you name it. You don’t have to belong to any faith. You may not have set foot in a religious edifice in 30 years! -- no matter. But you must believe in God.

And remember -- you do not have to believe Jesus is a Divine Son of God. You must believe in the reality of his Father, God the Father, the Universal Father, the God of creation.

And your faith must be strong and sincere -- you can’t fake it! Simply allowing the possibility that there might be a God is not faith! That’s philosophy -- but it’s not faith. Faith is blind trust in God, like that of a little child.

No matter what religion you espouse -- real faith sinks its roots into your mortal soul -- and this has a transforming effect. It changes you.

It makes you want to be like this God of your intense personal devotion. Real faith naturally brings forth in you the fruits of the spirit. It is impossible to truly love God and not want to be like Him.

What is He like? What are the fruits of the spirit?

Well, He is loving, patient, understanding, forgiving, gentle, kind, wise, just, fair, generous and righteous. There are other fruits that God’s spirit brings forth in us from His nature -- joy, long-suffering, goodness, faith, meekness, -- Jesus said the meek shall inherit the earth -- temperance, loyalty, honesty, trust, tolerance, hope -- and the most important of all these is an attitude of loving service.

Love is the desire to do well to others. It you truly believe in God, our Father, - you will naturally begin to love all your brothers and sisters in His earth family.

So this is why nobody can fake faith -- and why weak faith will only condemn you. Your belief must be profoundly real, devoutly sincere, totally authentic. It must come from the heart, not merely the intellect.

So remember the words of the great prophet Zechariah:

“In the whole land, says the Lord, two thirds shall be cut off and perish, and one third shall be left alive.” (Zech 13:8)

How will they make this selection of evacuees? How will they know whose faith is sincere?

Well, they have judges to do that. And they are doing that -- making the selection survivors of evacuees right now! They began to pick late in the year 1987.

Believe it or not, the Last Judgment is going on right now. It’s happening behind the scenes in the invisible celestial world. It may be invisible, but it’s very real --and on it hangs everyone’s fate.

All our traditions portray Judgment Day as one big event that takes place in a matter of minutes. This selection m fact will take seven years, concluding around late 1994.

They have to have part of the Judgment in advance of the planetary evacuation, because one of its purposes is to select the evacuees.

It’s all very neat, orderly, fair and just -- God does all things well -- there are no appeals.

Ezekiel the prophet wrote long ago of this very day:

“I will make you pass under the rod, and I will let you go in by number. I will purge out the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against me.” (Ezek. 20:37-38)

The prophet Daniel also knew not everybody would be picked for this evacuation. Only selected people would get to come -- people whose names were written in some kind of book. Daniel wrote.

“But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book.” (Dan. 12.1)

What is this big book? It’s called the Book of Life -- and it’s aptly named.

John mentions the Book of Life seven times in his Book of Revelation. The Book of Life is the evacuation manifest -- the list of the names of all the selected people the angels are to take to Graceland.

The New Testament writers also knew not everybody got picked to go. Matthew and Luke for example prophesied of this evacuation in terms of disappearing people. Matthew wrote:

“Then two men will be in the field; one is taken and one is left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one is taken and one is left.” (Matt. 24:40-41)

One by one, people now alive on earth are being judged in this inv
